SAP Warehouse Robotics/Automation
This is an on-premise solution for integration services for SAP Warehouse Robotics. It lets you connect SAP Warehouse Robotics to real robots and use them to move handling units (HUs) in a warehouse from source storage bins to target storage bins.
You can use integration services for SAP Warehouse Robotics in the following ways:
- To set up the services that are needed in the Kubernetes system on each edge node
- In order to get warehouse orders from SAP Warehouse Robotics
- In order to let SAP Warehouse Robotics know about the state of robots and warehouse orders.
- To keep warehouse orders and jobs close by so that a robot can do warehouse work if the network goes down.
- To move the handling units in a building with the help of physical robots
Components of Integration Services for SAP Warehouse Robotics
Integration services for SAP Warehouse Robotics consists of the following components:
- A tool for synchronizing custom resources (CRs)
- Controller for warehouse robot
- Robot connecter
It is the job of the CR Syncer to keep robots, robot instructions, and warehouse orders in sync. Here are the steps that the warehouse robot driver and robot adapter use to do robot work together:
- SAP Warehouse Robotics sends warehouse orders and robot directions to the warehouse robot controller.
- To make robot jobs, the warehouse robot controller calls the robot adapter.
- The robot adapter tells the physical robot what jobs it needs to do.
- The robot adapter keeps track of the state of the robot task and tells the warehouse robot controller when the status changes.
